KERN QUEHENBERGER s/t
it's one of those stories, where a one-time, coincidential event leads to something bigger: the duo KERN QUEHENBERGER started to exist one night at the legendary CBGB's in NYC when two members of the austrian band FUCKHEAD, Michael Strohmann and DDKern, played as part of the festival "phonotaktik 2002" and Phillip Quehenberger, who was in attendance that night, was invited to support them with their last track.
KERN QUEHENBERGER have been quite actively around since, delivering an improvised mix of free jazz and noise rock, heavily influenced by experimental electronic music.
Other projects those two are involved in? BULBUL, FUCKHEAD, WIPE OUT to name a few of the many of DDKern's activities, whereas PQ collaborated with Mark Stewart on 'edit' in 2008 and is else mainly going solo on such legendary labels as Laton and Editions Mego.

REGOLITH s/t
REGOLITH, a duo comprised of Richard Herbst and Christian Zollner (of MENKILLINGMEN, r.i.p.), was initially intended as a one-time special performance supporting a show of interstellar's BUG and REFLECTOR at stadtwerkstatt in Linz in 2006.
ever since they grew from improvised harsh noise to experimental soundscapes, employing synths, turntables, selfmade equipment and tons of effects.
REGOLITH is part of 'klingt.org', a collective from Vienna.
