the compromise is not possible
is the title of an hour-long composition written for female voice, drums, electric guitar and organ by Slobodan Kajkut, an independent contemporary composer from Serbia. It premiered in 2005 in Graz as a commissioned piece for "Hörfest", a festival for contemporary music.
Written to be performed at churches only, it is a combination of traditional contemporary composition techniques with Rock and Heavy Metal: Harmonies, rythmic changes and silence meets distorted guitars, feedback orgies and drums inspired by Speed and Death Metal.
Three years after its premiere at St. Andrä Church in Graz, it was reperfomed by the same musicians at the same location and recorded and released as a double LP by the austrian independent label Wire Globe Recordings.
For all of you, who wonder who Slobodan is: "The Striggles" - rings a bell? he's part of them, among other bands like "Jubbooko sa Negrass", "Mizar" and "Betty Blue".
On november 4th 2009 "the compromise is not possible" will be performed at the parish church (Stadtpfarrkirche) of Linz at 20:30.

today we have to start with some not so good news:
Flu.id, one of our beloved acts made their step to the deadpool.
after eight years of being together as a band, evolving to this rock monster as we know them for several years now, they sadly decided to split up.
after giving you some bad news, we really should come up with the good ones:
our top-secret-super-duper release for this fall is on the way to the pressing plant.
and another release for this fall is fixed now:
in the last couple of years the bands Bulbul and Tumido collaborated for several times on stage.
several times, and with so much joy that the way to a recording studio
was just a short step...
so we managed to release this Bulbultumido monster together with Rock Is Hell and Trost Records. - 10inch silkscreen printed!!
Delilah released their second album "Ich bin mein Zentrum".
The LP and the CD come to you in different packaging - and hopefully to a venue near you, as
they will bring this new release on tour throughout Europe in September.
watch out for exact tourdates on their site.
two of our favorite clubs, the rhiz in vienna and the kapu in linz; both of them released a great compilation stating a momentum of their musical surroundings.

after the great weekend at the interstellar festival 2008, we are still alive!
so we have some great updates for you:
in our radio section you will find the complete recording of the
final transmission orchestra show. edits of the show, on klingt.org.
exile on mainstream (the label that released such great bands like
Hidden Hand, Volt or Dyse), rereleased our 10inch "imperial sadism" from Flu.Id, on CD.
no panic! we have lot of copies left of the vinyl!
further, "exile on mainstream" will also release the new cd "6" from our friends Bulbul in the next couple of days.
and our friend jochen, from rock is hell, will bring you the vinyl version!!!
Tumido, released the CD "the orgy" on Trost Records.
Delilah, the band of "interstellar mercy" will release their new album "ich bin mein zentrum" on vinyl and cd, in the good old DIY style.
all these new recordings will be available via our mailorder, of course.
some plans for the future: in autumn we will release a very special recording, it's top secret by now, sorry.
further on, during summer time we will do some tweaks for this site!
