the compromise is not possible
is the title of an hour-long composition written for female voice, drums, electric guitar and organ by Slobodan Kajkut, an independent contemporary composer from Serbia. It premiered in 2005 in Graz as a commissioned piece for "Hörfest", a festival for contemporary music.
Written to be performed at churches only, it is a combination of traditional contemporary composition techniques with Rock and Heavy Metal: Harmonies, rythmic changes and silence meets distorted guitars, feedback orgies and drums inspired by Speed and Death Metal.
Three years after its premiere at St. Andrä Church in Graz, it was reperfomed by the same musicians at the same location and recorded and released as a double LP by the austrian independent label Wire Globe Recordings.
For all of you, who wonder who Slobodan is: "The Striggles" - rings a bell? he's part of them, among other bands like "Jubbooko sa Negrass", "Mizar" and "Betty Blue".
On november 4th 2009 "the compromise is not possible" will be performed at the parish church (Stadtpfarrkirche) of Linz at 20:30.

uhhh,time seems to be running through our fingers lately - and we can't get it together to write weekly (not even monthly) updates, shame on us...

SENSUAL LOVE is taking a break while krise moved to bejing for half a year, doing some studies in language and wu-shu fighting. as far as we know she enjoys it a lot and already has been made queen of karaoke ---

MOONLEE RECORDS - and just released the new ANALENA full length
Carbon Based and a new band from zagreb called DON'T MESS WITH TEXAS (with neven who hit the drums for NIKAD and RADIO FREE ISAAC and sasa who played the guitar in LUNAR quite a time ago).
both releases are available on CD now, vinyl is coming very soon. go check them out!!!

well last but not least: INTERSTELLAR will be releasing
Supernova II some time very soon - it will be again some kind of a very special compilation (remember Vol. I ? the tape box?): vinyl this time, a double 10" to be precise, 4 artists, one great guy doing the artworks - be aware!

CONGRATULATIONS!
today GONE BALD have their "10 year anniversary"-party feat. Makazoruki, Morbide Eenheid, Mika, Living Ornaments, Terrie Ex / Andy Moor / Rozemarie Heggen and the mighty Peach Pit. where? NL-AMSTERDAM @ zaal 100
And they released a special-limited-cd in best diy-tradition, feat. previously unreleased tracks and even recorded some material especially for this release, of all today performing acts.
