contrary to rumors going around
QUETZALdidn't break up, but fact is their longtime drummer hassi has left the band and is replaced by sigo. the chemistry simply wasn't there anymore for hassi to continue playing music with quetzal, and after the first practises with their new drummer sigo it seems like QUETZAL has found a second breath. they are currently working hard on new material and hope to be ready to play live again after the summer - but they will change their name. the last record under the bandname QUETZAL will be out on fearless records as a split with brazil. the record was announced for may 2003, but hasn't seen the day of light as of yet.
BUG just did a great interview on
broken violence. let's say this is a really good profile of what the actual tenor of this band and what keeps them on making their unique sound.

first we want to introduce you to a really nice webradio on the net. it is run by the people of the
stnt-fanzine. besides playing a lot of the interstellar-stuff, they did a really good choice of nearly 400 songs.

back from our long exhausting mission, we picked up
AINA! she completes the interstellar crew, and we are more than lucky about the new constellation at interstellar.
BUG: Interstellar Record 005 "klotho" is just doing in the pressing plant, and will be released in the beginning of
march 2003. check out the new mp3 "whale"

GONE BALD just finished recording at kozmo. the unmastered version is running on heavy rotation in our headquarter.
INT006 will be a full length recording and not a split with PEACH PIT as we planned earlier. that's why releasing a regular recording of PP satisfies us just more. ckeck out the GB page, because there is a very flattering and interesting tour- and studio-story, ....
finally the recordings of our long planned releases from
